Frequently asked questions about costs

What does psychological counseling at Studifit cost?

The first session regularly costs €25, and €1 as part of our Autumn offer until 31 October 2026. Each further session costs €39. If you book your second session within 14 days of your first session, it costs a one-time €29. The introductory call is free.

What proof do I need?

As a student, your certificate of enrollment (Immatrikulationsbescheinigung). As an apprentice, your training contract or a training certificate from your training company. You upload it when you book. By April 15 and October 15 we ask for current proof. Without proof you can book with Psychofit, at the regular price.

Does health insurance cover the costs?

Usually not. Psychological counseling is a self-pay service and not covered by statutory health insurance, as it is not medical treatment in the sense of psychotherapy.

Are there hidden costs or a subscription?

No. You pay per session, there is no subscription and there are no hidden costs. A 7-day money-back guarantee applies after every session, and no account is needed to book.

What do the session packages cost?

After your first session you can buy a package through your personal booking link: the 3-session package costs €105 (€35 per session), the 5-session package €169 (€33.80) and the 10-session package €319 (€31.90). What counts is your proof at the time of purchase.

Can I cancel session packages?

Yes. Session packages are valid for 3 years and can be cancelled at any time without giving reasons. You then receive back the share attributable to the sessions you have not yet used: every open session is refunded at the per-session price of your package. Unused sessions do not expire within the three years.

What happens when my studies or vocational training end?

Paid packages stay valid. After that you can keep booking with Psychofit: your account and your history stay, and usually your counselor does too. Further sessions there cost the regular price.

Does the first-session price apply if I come back later?

The first-session price applies once per person. If you have been with us before, you book at the follow-up rate. However, if your last session was more than twelve months ago, the first-session price applies again. If you used the money-back guarantee, your claim to the first-session price remains.
